GTCM Faculty Development Workshops

The GTCM Faculty Development Workshop Summer 2011 is our effort to build capacity for two year college educator's to utilize the new Dept. of Labor's Geospatial Technology Competency Model.  This workshop consists of two cohorts: a) Louisville in June and b) San Diego in July that has the following three goals:

1. What are the essential elements that, at a minimum, should be included in a gateway awareness course?

2. What are the essential elements that, at a minimum, should be included in a gateway technology course?

3. To what depth do we teach these elements?
